Entrepreneurs and artists live in a world of intense creative pressure. Pressure to produce, pressure to please, pressure to earn, and pressure to move people to buy our stuff! Pressure can create inner tension, turmoil, burn-out and anxiety. Pressure can stoke our fears, block our sense of well-being and curtail our output. So what’s the trick to sustaining creativity under pressure? The answer may astonish you.
If you’re an artist or entrepreneur struggling with occasional bouts of anxiety, depression, overwhelm or un-creativeness, please come to the Orangeville ‘Bridges to Better Business’ Lunch & Learn on Wednesday April 25th. Mulmur resident Mag Ruffman will address burnout and productivity and offer her tips on how to stay creative no matter what life throws at you.
As many of you know our friends the Sipples, who reside in our neighbouring Horning’s Mills, have lost their beloved home due to an unfortunate fire. Show some support and celebrate this lovely couple by coming out for some fellowship and fun on March 10th!
If you have silent auction items you’d like to contribute, please call Maggie at 519.925.5518 or email email@example.com – thank you!

In the early morning hours of Sunday February 11th, longtime residents of the hamlet of Horning’s Mills, John and Doreen Sipple, lost their lovely home and everything in it. A tragic accidental fire took their century home quickly despite the noble efforts and hard work of our local firefighters. Thankfully, John and Doreen were able to escape uninjured, but they are left with nothing but the clothes they were wearing.
The community has come together to hold a fundraising concert to help in their recovery efforts.
Bring your dancing boots and shoes!
